(KNSI) — A 50-year-old Waite Park man was found guilty of giving drugs to teenage girls at his home last year.
The criminal complaint says Dale Edward Lehman came to their house between September 7th and September 9th of 2020 and asked if they wanted to smoke marijuana with them. It says the girls followed Lehman to his home, where he “presented the girls with a tray of crystalline substance he informed them was methamphetamine.”
Both girls, who were 14 at the time, did meth with Lehman at his house and their house. Court documents say one of the girls went into a bedroom with Lehman and groped her over her clothing. The other teen says she saw him do it. The criminal complaint says, “both girls appeared under the influence of a stimulant.”
Lehman was charged with providing meth to a child and one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. The jury found Lehman guilty on the drug charge but was acquitted on the criminal sexual conduct charge.
Lehman’s criminal history search shows numerous convictions, including giving alcohol to a minor, criminal sexual conduct, drug possession, and failing to register as a predatory offender.
Sentencing is set for November 17th.
