(KNSI) – Two suspected drug dealers face charges after law enforcement led to the discovery of multiple drugs in Cass County.

On Friday, the sheriff’s office executed the search warrant on a home in Turtle Lake Township near Walker. The search was part of an investigation into the sale of drugs in Central Minnesota.

According to deputies, several suspected controlled substances were seized, including around 3.75 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, nearly five pounds of suspected marijuana, almost five ounces of psychedelic mushrooms, almost four pounds of mushroom candy bars, more than a pound of suspected marijuana wax, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Investigators also seized money they say is connected to the sale of drugs. Guns and ammunition were also found and taken as evidence.

Police arrested two men, age 42 and 18, both from Walker. They’re being held in jail awaiting formal charges of 1st degree controlled substance sales and possession, 5th-degree sales and possession, felon in possession of firearms, and child endangerment. The sheriff’s office says many of these investigations start with an anonymous tip and encourages people to share information with law enforcement through Crime Stoppers of Minnesota.
