(KNSI) – The search for a missing Crown College graduate has come to a sad end.
Police were called to a single vehicle crash near the area of Highway 101 and Highway 13 in Savage Tuesday afternoon. That turned into an “active investigation” after a body was found in the car. The body has been identified by the family as 26-year-old Keegan Oyugi. Oyugi went missing on June 12th after leaving the Prior Lake-Savage area on his way home to St. Bonifacius.
Initial investigations show that Oyugi’s car apparently veered off the highway. Oyugi was the only one in the car at the time.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will make an official identification as well as determine the cause and manner of death.
