(KNSI) – A 33-year-old man from Little Falls faces felony drug charges in Stearns County for allegedly possessing almost 100 grams of methamphetamine.

According to the criminal complaint, an Avon police officer pulled over a vehicle about 2:00 a.m. on Saturday for expired registration. The officer also saw two cans of pepper spray in the car. The alleged driver of that car, Tyler Boser, is not allowed to have pepper spray due to a previous charge in 2016. Investigators say Boser knew the pepper spray was in the car but that it wasn’t his.

The officer continued searching the car and said they found a zip case on the floor of the passenger side that tested positive for methamphetamine. Police say with packaging; it weighed over 96 grams.

Boser was charged with first-degree drug possession and a felony possession charge for having the pepper spray in his car.
