(KNSI) – COVID-19 cases are continuing to stay low in Minnesota.

Between Monday and Friday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 513 positive COVID cases in the state, including 34 found in the five-county St. Cloud area. Since Monday, 27 Minnesotans have died from COVID, including a Stearns County resident who was in their late 50s.

Though the demand for COVID testing has declined in recent weeks, people are still getting tested regularly. In the last five days, the state processed 53,022 tests, and only 0.97 percent of those tests came back positive.

Currently, 107 people are hospitalized across Minnesota for COVID-19. Twenty-seven of those patients are receiving intensive care.

The drop in cases comes as 3,040,505 Minnesotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. Just over half the state’s total population is now considered fully vaccinated (51.2 percent).

Percent of the total population vaccinated with at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose:

  • State of Minnesota: 54.7 percent
  • Benton County: 37 percent
  • Morrison County: 38 percent
  • Sherburne County: 39 percent
  • Stearns County: 43 percent
  • Wright County: 45 percent
