(KNSI) – Granite City Days began on Thursday in St. Cloud with the Lemonade Art Fair.
Jennifer was with friends looking through all the crafts and home decor at the art fair on St. Cloud State University’s campus.
“It’s just so good to be out and about with friends, and It’s an absolute relief. All of us are in health care. So it’s more of a relief for us, I think to be able to get out and see people and touch stuff again. And it’s awesome. I have my hand sanitizer, though.”
The St. Cloud woman talked about what she’s looking forward to doing at the art fair.
“French fries and a corn dog. That’s number one on my list. And then I need some yard art. And there’s a guy over there that’s got some really good-priced stuff and beautiful Things that will go perfect in my yard.”
Nick Jennings is selling industrial and steampunk art and says a lot of people are out and about.
“The turnout seems great. I think the turnout is better than the last time I did it.”
He says it’s nice to be in his hometown selling art.
“It feels good to be back. St. Cloud is my home. I went to school. I’m an alumnus of St. Cloud State, and I’m hoping to meet good folks and maybe sell some art and have a good time.”
The Lemonade Art Fair goes until 7:30 p.m.
Granite City Days’ opening ceremony is at 6:30 on Thursday night at Husky Stadium.
The ceremony will begin with music from the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, followed by the Rock-On Awards and the Music Legacy Award.
