(KNSI) – The Stearns County Licensing Centers have taken their most significant step towards normalcy since the start of the pandemic by allowing walk-ins again.
Walks-ins to Stearns County License Centers are now allowed for car, boat, ATV, and snowmobile tabs at both county offices.
All services can be done by appointment to keep wait time to a minimum and have the service completed within an average 20-minute timeframe.
License Centers also offer services online at StearnsCountyMN.gov, by drop-box, mail, and over the phone.
The Waite Park Service Center drive-thru hours will be open from 7:30-5:00, Monday through Friday, starting June 7, 2021.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of same-day appointments to avoid long lines at the drive-thru as cut-off times may apply.
Appointments can be made at StearnsCountyMN.gov and are offered the same day and up to two weeks in advance.
