Cosmos Man Arrested After Rollover Crash Tuesday Night

(KNSI) – A 28-year-old man from Cosmos was arrested after a rollover crash Tuesday night in Meeker County.

The sheriff’s department was called to the crash at the intersection of Highway 24 and County Road 34 in Litchfield Township just before 9:45. They say the one person who was inside the car suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Police on scene learned the vehicle was stolen. A search of the driver turned up a small amount of methamphetamine.

He was booked into the Meeker County jail pending charges.

KNSI does not typically name suspects until they have been formally charged.
