(KNSI) – Police are asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for a string of recent burglaries and attempted burglaries in Waite Park.
According to police, several burglaries have been reported recently at businesses, homes, and storage sheds.
Police say the most recent burglary occurred around 10:30 on Friday night at Royal Tire in the 700 block of 28th Avenue South. Investigators say the suspects tried to pry open a door but were unsuccessful. Outside cameras were moved or broken.
A few hours later, around 1:45 a.m., Pomp’s Tire in the 8200 block of Old Highway Road N was broken into after a window was pried open. Police say it’s unknown what was taken.
Officers say just after midnight on Memorial Day, two male suspects were seen attempting to enter a storage shed in the 100 block of 6th Avenue North. Police say they were unsuccessful.
Police have a limited description of the suspects, including two males wearing dark clothing and a dark hat. While the description of the suspects is limited, Waite Park Police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity, especially at night.
