Buffalo Clinic Shooting Suspect in Court Thursday

(KNSI) – The man accused in the fatal shooting at an Allina Health clinic is in court today.

Gregory Ulrich will appear via video conference today in Wright County. Ulrich is charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay on February 9th at the Allina Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo. Ulrich is also charged with attempted murder, possession of an explosive or incendiary device, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

According to officials with Wright County, Gregory Ulrich’s attorney asked for and was granted a Rule 20 evaluation in March to determine Ulrich’s competency to stand trial.

Ulrich is facing more than 40 years in prison if convicted.
