(KNSI) – The principal of St. John’s Prep Academy makes the grade.

MINNDEPENDENT is made up of 165 private and independent schools. It has announced Dr. Christine Glomski as the winner of the 2024 Leadership Award. It is handed out based on three criteria.

To win, you must be dedicated to your school, bringing hard work and passion every day. Innovation and advocacy for private schools are also factored into the equation.

Glomski was nominated by St. John’s Prep Head of School Jon McGee. He wrote to the nominating committee that she “leads gracefully and graciously, never losing sight of our primary purpose to provide extraordinary learning experiences for our students. Perhaps most importantly, she has created a palpable positive and joyful atmosphere in the school for our students, our faculty, and our families.”

Before becoming the principal at St. John’s Prep, Glomski served in the same role at Becker Intermediate School. She has also been an assistant principal at Independence and Liberty Elementary in Clear Lake and dean of students at Forest Lake High School.
