(KNSI) – A 36-year-old man is left for dead in the middle of a St. Michael roadway after a potential hit-and-run incident.

Wright County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the intersection of Ochoa Avenue Northeast and 60th Street just before 11:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1st, because a body was lying motionless on the pavement. First responders from Allina Ambulance and St. Michael Fire Department attempted life-saving efforts at the scene but were unsuccessful.

The man was identified Monday as Kyle Dixon, who lived in the city. He was declared dead and taken to Midwest Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. The sheriff’s office says in a press release that Dixon’s injuries are consistent with being struck by a vehicle. It is looking for the public’s help.

If you have any information on the incident, please contact the department at (763) 682-1162.
