(KNSI) – More information is being released about an open house at the Coborn Healing Center later this month, which cares for cancer patients through a variety of holistic means.
The facility is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Wednesday, August 16th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Attendees will have a chance to tour the center, visit the reflection garden, and meet staff. They’ll discuss patient services, including acupuncture, dietitian classes, and palliative care.
The highlight is cancer survivor Mary Jensen. She will be showing off her painting, “The Magical Forest.” Jensen was enrolled in the art therapy program while at the center.
Refreshments will be on hand, and ice cream will be provided to the first 70 people.
