(KNSI) – The Minnesota State Patrol has issued an update on the fatal crash near Roscoe Thursday morning at 6:35.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Highway 23. A driver in a 2015 Chevy Silverado rear-ended an Oldsmobile sedan with two men inside. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Oldsmobile was driven by a 35-year-old from Fort Ripley with a 22-year-old passenger from Little Falls.

MSP says at least one of them was not wearing a seat belt. The agency says it won’t release their identities until later tonight and tomorrow. The original release noted one man was dead and the other had serious injuries.
