(KNSI) – Tommy Vee and his band will headline another St. Joseph concert on Sunday, once again for a great cause.

He was on the KNSI Morning Show Wednesday telling host Bob Hughes that they’re bringing friends.

“Anderson Daniels is a new country songwriter and great performer. And then another guy by the name of Eric Koskinen, who’s a long-time friend of ours and just a crazy cool songwriter-musician.”

The concert is at Bad Habit Brewing, starting at 1:00 and lasting into the evening. Vee says the show benefits the Alzheimer’s Association.

“And it [the money] stays right here in the community. It’s used for things like reach out programs. Whenever somebody is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, there’s a whole family behind that person that needs support and that’s what they’re [The Alzheimer’s Association] there for. It’s a great resource and I encourage anybody that’s dealing with this to call them.”

A small portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting local arts programs like School of Rock. Some of those students will take the stage as well.

Learn more here. It’s one of two events to help the Alzheimer’s Association this weekend. A walk steps off at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Lake George in St. Cloud.
