(KNSI) — The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says more than 7,000 turkeys were lost following a barn fire in Sauk Centre Township.
At about 10:30 p.m. on April 30th, deputies were called to the fire in a 64′ by 200′ barn, which was reported to be fully engulfed at the time. Investigators say they believe it started in the mechanical room on the northwest side of the building.
The barn appeared to be a total loss.
