Tigers and Storm Split Double-Header

(KNSI) - In game one, the Tigers rallied in the second half trailing 13 for the comeback win.
Tiger girls took down Sauk Rapids 68-58 on Thursday night.
Sauk Rapids and Tech had a good game at the half, but Sauk Rapids held a slim lead.
Shayna Payonk lead the way for the Storm with 10 points and 5 and the half.
Tech fought back hard in the second half after trailing by 13 early as the second got underway
Genaya Murray went nuts in the second half leading the Tigers scoring with 13 in the second half.
Murray Finishes with 23 points and 12 rebounds she was also selected as the All-Star Trophy and awards player of the game.
At halftime, Sauk Rapids led 31-30 after withstanding a flurry of offense early from Tech.
Alex Harren ended with 12 points and knocked down a couple three-pointers for the Storm.
For Tech, Drake Jett lead with 5 points and 4 rebounds at the half.
Tech once again led late and looked to win their second game of the season but clutch free-throws and scrappy play led the Storm to victory.
Ultimately, Josh Schloe was too stout to handle for the Tigers as he ended with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Schloe's efforts garnered a nod as the All-Star Trophy Player of the Game.
