(KNSI)- The St. Cloud Tech Tigers defeated the Princeton Tigers 47-16 on Friday night.

Brevyn Spann-Ford caught 3 touchdowns for Tech in the 1st quarter. He also returned an interception for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter. The University of Minnesota commit was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.

Scott Kippley and Nate Trewick also scored touchdowns in the first half for Tech and the Tigers led 41-8 at halftime.

Tech extended their lead in the 3rd quarter on a touchdown run by Jonas Oehrlein.

Cole Heppner and James Flickek scored touchdowns for Princeton who fall to 0-7 on the season.

Tech improves to 5-2 on the year and will finish the regular season on the road at Bemidji. KNSI will broadcast that game live with coverage beginning at 6:45 on Wednesday night.
