(KNSI) - Due to a likely high demand for tickets for St. Cloud Technical High School's inaugural home game against Apollo this Friday night, District 742 urges fans to get their tickets and arrive to the game early.
In a press release from District 742, St. Cloud Tech High School Activities Director Dave Langerud says:
-----The historic, first football game ever to be played at Tiger Stadium at the new Tech High School will feature Apollo vs. Tech on Friday, September 6 at 7 p.m. Pregame ticket sales—cash or check only--will begin Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5 at the new Tech Activities Office, Door 2, and at the Apollo Activities Office from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day. Tickets are $6 for adults, seniors and military, and $4 for children/students. Children under 5 are free. Tickets are limited to 5 per person during the presale. This event is expected to sell out, so arrive early. Tickets are also available on game day—cash only—starting at 5 p.m. at the regular ticket booths. Those who have a pass, punch card or District 742 ID must still get a ticket.
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis at the new Tech High School, 4200 33rd Street South, St. Cloud. Car-pooling is recommended. Parking attendants will be on duty directing traffic. Parking is available until the lots are full.------
Tech's first home game at their newly built Tiger Stadium is also a "Tackle Cancer" event in which some proceeds from the game will benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
If fans simply cannot make it to the game, they can listen on AM1450, FM99.3 KNSI or watch the live-stream here.
