(KNSI) The Sartell Sabres defeated the Rocori Spartans 55-36 on Thursday night.

The first half of the game was very defensive and low scoring. Sartell was 2 of 15 from behind the arc in the first half, and contributed to their low score.

Sartell held only a 1 point lead over Rocori going into halftime, 21-20.

In the second half, Sartell made smarter shots and played better defense, and were able to pull away late in the half.

Rocori struggled to get anything going and only scored 16 points in the second half.

The final score of game was 55-36 in favor of Sartell.

Sartell's Addie DeMaine led the team with 16 points. Megan Sieben had 10.

Rocori's Laney Griffin had 10 points.

Sartell's Addie DeMaine was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.
