We are back for the fifth season with the same teams. From the Central Lakes Conference we will have: Sartell Sabres, Sauk Rapids Storm, St. Cloud Tech Tigers; St. Cloud Apollo Eagles and Rocori Spartans. From the Granite Ridge Conference; Albany Huskies, Becker Bulldogs and the Foley Falcons. From the Park Region Conference the Royalton/Uspala Royals and from the Central Minnesota Conference the Eden Valley Watkins Eagles.

Will bring you the individual results of the duals and Individual tournaments of all ten teams. Also the list of upcoming of events, current state ratings and conference standings. The Falcons had one place winner at the Fargo “Rumble on The Red” Invitational; this includes over 80 teams. Mitch Trigg earned second place at 285, he is now 22-2 on the season. Cameron Kowitz went 5-2 in the tourney at 132, he didn’t place, his season record is now 18-5. John Dierkes went 3-2 at 138 but didn’t place, he is now 15-4 on the season. Special congratulations goes out to the Falcons Junior Varsity, as they had nine place winners for 238 points to win the Junior Varsity tournament. Many of the varsity wrestlers from other teams, usually drop into the Junior Varsity tourney, so it is a very tough tournament field indeed. Logan Thorsten won the championship at 126, he went 6-0 in the tourney. Greg Miller earned second place at 182, he went 5-1 in the tourney and Isaiah Fitch earned third place at 145, he went 8-1 at the tourney. Hunter Gorecki earned fourth place at 195, he was 5-2 at the tourney and Michael Moulzolf earned fifth place at 132, he was 5-2 at the tourney. Michael Goulet earned sixth place at 132, he went 7-3 at the tourney, Eldon Johnson took seventh place, he went 9-3 at the tourney and Max Henne took eighth place, he went 4-3 at the tourney. Andrew Knustson at 138 went 5-2 and Sutherlin Schmit at 145 went 4-2 but didn’t place. Dylan Lowthian at 113, Joe Jovanavich at 138 and Jack Wolff at 170 all went 3-2, but they didn’t place. It was indeed a great team effort by the Junior Varsity.


The Tigers earned 107 points to earn ninth place at the Fargo “Rumble on the Red” Invitational. This is a field of over 80 teams; they had three place winners including:

Austin Brenner, he earned third place at 160, he is now 17-3 on the season. Graham Nistler earned seventh place at 170, he is now 17-6 on the season and Alex Kern took eighth place at 132, he is 6-4, as he is coming back from an injury. Luka Rajkic at 126 went 4-2 in the tourney, he is now 12-6 and Dallas Hooper at 145 went 4-2 at the tourney, he is now 14-6. Isaac Green at 220 went 3-2 at the tourney, he is now 13-6 and Jayden Sundstrom at 152 went 4-2 at the tourney, he is now 9-7 on the season. Drevion Hemingway at 126 went 3-2 at the tourney, Braxton Garceau at 182 went 3-2 at the tourney and Aaron Voigt at 285 went 3-1 at the tourney. The Tigers Junior Varsity earned 74 points with two place winners to take 38th out 84 teams. Logan Hanson at 182 earned third place and Payton Christianson at 285 earned fifth place. Jack Latterell at 138 went 4-2, Preston Garceau at 132 went 3-2 and Nick Haman 95 went 3-2, but they didn’t place.


The Bulldogs had a good tournament performance with eleven place winners to earn second place at the Rogers “Matness” Invitational with 139.5 points. This was a field of eighteen teams; Mason Doucette won their lone championship a 106, he is now 7-2 on the season. Jake Nelson earned second place at 120, he is now 10-2 on the season and Kylen Rish earned second place at 132, he is now 4-4 on the season. Lukas Paulson earned third place at 126, he is 13-2 and Logan Jurek earned third at 152, he is 11-3. Blake Paulson earned fourth place at 138, Kevin Andres earned fifth place at 138, he is now 9-5 and Jacob Berning earned fifth at 145, he is now 12-3. Conner Eickhoff at 160 and Lincoln Carlson at 170 both earned fifth place and Caden Dewall took sixth place at 138. The Bulldogs were without a couple of their starters for this event, they may have had a couple more potential finalists.


The Sabres had two place winners at the Fargo “Rumble on the Red” invitational, for 59 points and thirty-second place. Cole Firbranz won the championship at 220, he is now 17-0 on the season. Jackson Penk earned sixth place at 120, he is now 18-3 on the season. Nick Pelach had a good tournament, he went 5-2 at 126, but he didn’t place, he is now 14-4 on the season. The Sabres Junior Varsity earned 51 points to take 56th place in the field of 84 teams. Andy Heckman earned seventh place at 113, he is 12-6 for the season. Spencer Johnson at 95 went 3-2 at the tourney and he is 16-4 and Dylan Joyce at 132 went 5-2 and he is 12-2, but neither one placed.


The Spartans scored 16.5 points at the Rumble on The Red with Gunnar Feldhege leading the way. He went 3-2 at 152, but didn’t place, Gunnar is now 11-4 on the season. The Junior Varsity scored 88 points; led by Caleb Thoennes at 85 pounds, he earned second place and Gavin Winter at 95 pounds earned seventh place. Ben Hansen at 126 and Trent Kerzman at 138 both went 4-2, but they didn’t place.
