(KNSI) - The Cathedral Crusaders defeated the Albany Huskies 71-66 on Monday night.

Cathdral came out very strong in the first half of the game, with several player knocking down big three pointers and making important shots.

The Crusaders had huge momentum going into halftime, leading by 10 points.

Out of halftime, Albany went on a 9-0 run and cut the game to 1 point.

After that, it was back and forth basketball with several lead changes.

Cathedral got going again late in the second half with some big three point shots, including one from Andrew Weisser which changed the course of the game.

The Crusaders were on fire and protecting the zone, and did not let Albany get anything going.

The Crusaders were able to make critical free throws in the final minutes.

The final score was 71-66 in favor of the Crusaders.

Jake Meyer was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game with 25 points and 2 rebounds.
