Tech Boys, Apollo Girls Win

(KNSI) - In a double header on Tuesday night, the St. Cloud Tech boys defeated St. Cloud Apollo 91-74, and the St. Cloud Apollo girls defeated St. Cloud Tech 83-45.
The boys game started out with a fast pace as Tech jumped out to an early 10 point lead.
Apollo was able to keep up with scoring midway through the period, but Tech ran away with it before halftime.
Tech held a 46-33 going into halftime.
In the second half, Tech's dominance continued.
Apollo's defense was not enough to hold back the big players on Tech, and fell behind further in scoring.
The final score of the game was 91-74
In the girls game, St. Cloud Apollo dominated both halves and did not give up a lead.
Apollo's Lariah Washington had 23 points, and she set a new record for the most points scored by a female basketball player in Apollo's history.
Washington was also selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.
For the boys, Brevyn Spann-Ford had a monster game with 35 points, and was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.
