(KNSI) - The Minnesota Department of Health says Wright County is reporting its seventh COVID-19 related death Monday. It was a person in their 70's.

The MDH says the county also reported eight new COVID-19 positive cases.

Elsewhere locally:

  • Benton County - 463 total cases, 26 active cases, and three deaths
  • Morrison County - 174 total cases and one death
  • Sherburne County - 1,030 total cases and 13 deaths
  • Stearns County - 3,571 total cases, 101 active cases, and 23 deaths
  • Wright County - 1,447 total cases and seven deaths

Statewide:

  • 1,724,779 approximate number of tests done
  • 1,243,355 approximate number of people tested
  • 84,949 total positive cases
  • 1,922 total COVID-19 related deaths
  • 1,398 total COVID-19 related deaths in long term care or assisted living facilities
  • 233 current COVID-19 related hospitalizations
  • 135 COVID-19 patients in the ICU
  • 78,238 patients off isolation
