Two Local Groups to Share Outreach Grant Aimed at Helping the Uninsured

(KNSI) - Two local groups are part of 43 organizations that will receive $3.5 million in grant money to improve outreach to uninsured Minnesotans.
Among the organizations receiving grants is Briva Health of the Twin Cities & St. Cloud and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid of St. Cloud.
They will each get part of $2.4 million in targeted aid aimed at improving outreach for those who don't have insurance and need help getting it, or are confused by the whole process, have access to help free of charge.
According to MNSure, in the last year, more than 23,000 Minnesotans used the state's navigator network organizations to help them buy and keep health insurance coverage.
