(KNSI) - A trial date has been set for a teenager accused of flashing a knife during a brawl at St. Cloud Tech High School last year.

Seventeen-year-old Hussein Abdi Abdinasir pleaded not guilty to making terroristic threats, possession of a dangerous weapon on school property, and being involved in a riot in the 2nd degree with a weapon.

The St. Cloud teen's trial is set for March 25th.

Hussein is accused of taking part in the fight on September 25th, which involved at least 19 students.

According to the criminal complaint, he brandished a knife in a threatening manner. Police say the knife wasn't used during the massive fight.

One student suffered a broken nose during the brawl, and three teachers were hurt trying to break it up.

All the students involved in the riot have been charged.

The kids range in age from 14 to 17. Eighteen of those charged were boys, and one was a 14-year-old girl.

District 742 Administration has barred all the students charged in the incident from returning to Tech High School this school year. Some may never be allowed to return.

Officials say the fight started between two 16-year-old boys and their friends after an altercation that had occurred earlier off school grounds. As the fight began, more students joined in the melee.

The fight caused the school to go into lockdown.
