(KNSI) - The Minnesota Department of Health says there are now more than 15,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases around the state and an additional 22 reported deaths. The statewide case count is 15,668, with total deaths now at 722. This, after 7,324 people were tested.

Around central Minnesota, the MDH says there were another 38 cases diagnosed in Stearns County for a total of 1,713. Benton County also saw another nine newly reported cases for a total of 131. Morrison County saw no increase in cases. Their case count stands at 25. Sherburne County is reporting seven new cases and one new death. Its case count now stands at 150 total cases and two deaths. Officials say the person who died was between the ages of 90 and 99. Wright had another ten cases diagnosed for a total of 162.

There are also 2,090 total cases requiring hospitalization, with 487 patients still hospitalized and 221 of them in the ICU.

The state is also reporting 10,175 patients are out of isolation.
