(KNSI) - A winter storm pounding the state of Minnesota on Friday kept first responders busy.

The Minnesota State Patrol says they responded to 129 crashes between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday.

Nineteen of the accidents resulted in injuries, but none were severe.

There were also 89 vehicle spin-outs and two jackknifed semis.

Roads are expected to remain hazardous until late Saturday.
