(KNSI) - St. Cloud residents have a chance to learn what their city does and how it functions during St. Cloud 301 this weekend.
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis says this is the third time they've offered the course.
"If you've been to the other two, you'll want to come to this because each time we've tried something different."
The class is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Maintenance Building in East St. Cloud. That building is home to the snowplows and other machines it takes to maintain the city's streets.
Kleis says, in this case, "we wanted to put it in the facility where we have all that equipment."
He says not only will people be able to see all of the the machinery, but they can ask questions of the experts who use it.
The classes teach people the roles of those who serve the city and allows them to meet with local, state, and federal leaders. The class will include two roundtable discussions on the things people talked about most in the latest community survey, public safety and transportation.
