Sheriff: Young Woman Crashes While On Video Call

(KNSI) - Deputies say a young woman crashed her vehicle after missing a stop sign while on a video call.
The Meeker County Sheriff's Office was called just after 5:30 on Sunday night about an injury crash at the intersection of County Highway 21 and County Highway 14 in Darwin Township.
Investigators say 18-year-old Caitlin Gunter, of Hopkins, missed the stop sign at the T-intersection and ended crashing in a field west of the intersection.
Gunter was on her phone in a video call during the accident.
She suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.
Gunter was given a ticket for violating a the state's hands free driving law.
