(KNSI) - Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is getting construction started on their second home for a veteran and their family.
A wall raising ceremony will be held at the site of the new home at 1908 Benton Drive North in Sauk Rapids on Tuesday at noon.
Donations for the second veterans' build are being taken.
The veteran who gets the home will have a zero-interest loan with a mortgage repayment plan not to exceed 30 percent of their income.
Last September, the ground was broken on the first veterans build home on the 200-block of 3rd Avenue Northeast in St. Cloud.
The lot was donated, and Habitat for Humanity raised $140,000 for the build.
In June, the keys to the home were handed over to the veteran, his wife, and child.
