(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University will see more than 1,500 students graduate on Friday.

SCSU’s Commencement ceremonies will take place from 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Students from 30 nations and 28 U.S. states earned degrees during the spring semester and 1,200 of them are scheduled to take part in the ceremonies.

The degree-earners include 1,232 undergraduate students, 350 graduate students and 18 doctoral students.

Delivering the 10:30 a.m. student address is Sydney Wittnebel, a summa cum laude graduate from Nassau. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Dillon Mielke is delivering the 3 p.m. student address. Mielke is from Aberdeen, South Dakota, and has earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies.

Parking will be free May 10 in campus parking lots and the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp.

Graduates, their guests, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the free St. Cloud Metro Bus shuttle. Street parking is available, as posted.
