(KNSI) - A man is accused of choking a woman and threatening her with a gun.
Police say on May 25th, Todd Randall Gilb became angry at the woman then grabbed her hair and pulled her to the ground at a home in St. Cloud.
The woman says the 54-year-old’s beer spilled and he ordered her to lick it up.
Officers say Gilb grabbed the woman by her hair a second time and pulled her to the ground, again.
According to the criminal complaint, he started choking the woman with two hands then put his forearm on her throat and continued to choke her until she lost conscious.
The woman says when she awoke, she was still lying on the ground.
Investigators say on July 6th, Gilb accused the woman of cheating on him. According to the complaint, Gilb grabbed a handgun and pointed it at her and said “this is what’s gonna happen if he comes here.”
She says he then pointed the gun in the area next to her then back at her. The woman says he continued to waved the gun around for 15 minutes. During this time police were called about a domestic assault in progress.
Gilb has been charged with 2nd degree assault with a weapon, terroristic threats, domestic assault-by strangulation and three other counts of domestic assault.
He posted bond. His next court date is September 24th.
