(KNSI) - One of St. Cloud's largest employers announced when they will close their manufacturing plant for good.
Electrolux says around 90 percent of their employees will be permanently laid off on November 1st.
The remaining 10 percent of employees will help wind down operations for several months.
The company says they are working with local, state and federal officials to help employees with job searches.
The freezer maker announced in January of 2018 that they were planning on closing the St. Cloud plant in late 2019.
The company is moving production into their facility in South Carolina.
Electrolux is St. Cloud's 8th largest employer with about 760 workers.
