UPDATE: Tanisha Maehling has been found dead. Her body was discovered in her car, which was submerged in the Crow River. Authorities with the Wright County Sheriff's Office say they got a report of tire tracks leading into the river, where they found the car.

(KNSI) - Officials are asking for the public's help finding a missing Monticello woman.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office says Tanisha Maehling last had contact with her family on Saturday night in the Montrose area.

There has been no contact with the 39-year-old since.

Police say this is out of character for Tanisha and because she has health concerns authorities are concerned for her welfare.

Tanisha was last known to be driving a 2008 black Lincoln MKX with Minnesota license plate 513-MKV.

She is described as 5’03”, 200 pounds with brown eyes (sometimes wears blue contacts), pronounced freckles on her face and reddish pink hair.

Tanisha has a pierced eyebrow and a tattoo of a polar bear on her right shoulder and rose tattoo on her back.
