(KNSI) - The Paramount Center for the Arts is announcing the show lineup for their 2020-2021 season, and the main stage is filled with the classics.

First up is Guys and Dolls, a musical comedy taking audiences to an underground world of showgirls and crapshooters bringing 1950's New York to life.

Another musical comedy, Little Shop of Horrors, plays in the lead up to Halloween. It's a story of a strange plant chosen to save a skid row flower shop and its employees, but the plant has hopes for world domination, and things get messy from there.

The family holiday musical is the classic story of Cinderella.

The winter musical this season is Matilda which is the story of a young girl with a sharp mind and vivid imagination who takes a stand to change her destiny.

The spring musical is, The Sound of Music. It's the story of love, courage, and the power of music.

At the Helgeson Learning Lab Theater in Waite Park, The Laramie Project tells the story of Matthew Shepherd, a gay man who was killed in 1998.

Black Nativity tells the Christmas story with dance and gospel music.
