(KNSI) - The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are listed on multiple lists as two of the top liberal arts colleges in the U.S.
The Washington Monthly 2020 College Guide and Rankings places CSB 31st among liberal arts colleges nationwide, and JSU is ranked 60th. The Washington Monthly ranks schools "based on what they do for the country" -- evaluating colleges' contributions to social mobility, promoting public service and research.
The magazine also placed CSB 8th in its list of "Best Bang for the Buck" schools.
On the College Consensus' Best National Liberal Arts Colleges list, CSB takes 62nd and SJU 89th. Among Catholic schools, College Consensus ranks CSB 13th and SJU 25th, taking first and second place, respectively, in Minnesota.
The two St. Joseph colleges appear in the Princeton Review's non-ranked annual guide of the nearly 400 top U.S. colleges and universities. For the U.S. News and World Report's 2021 list of national liberal arts schools, CSB places 96th and SJU 102nd.
