Complaint: Drunk Driver Caused Injury Crash

(KNSI) - A man is charged with criminal vehicular operation for allegedly driving drunk and causing an injury crash on Christmas.
Stearns County deputies say 59-year-old Stephen Roger Seifermann hit an SUV head-on on County Road 154 near Albany around 3:45 p.m. on December 25th.
The victim suffered contusions to both knees and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.
Deputies say the Avon man smelled like alcohol and sample of his blood was taken for analysis.
According to the criminal complaint, the toxicology results showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of .291, more than three times the legal limit of .08.
He’s been charged with criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm while under the influence of alcohol and criminal vehicular operation while under the influence of alcohol with a concentration of more than .08.
A summons has been issued for him to appear in court on June 11th.
