(KNSI) – Breakfast on the Farm is back in 2021 after taking a year off due to the pandemic.
The 13th Annual Stearns County Breakfast on the Farm will be held at Kerfeld Hillview Farm, near St. Rosa, on Saturday, June 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
There is a free breakfast, and dairy treats are available for all those who join in for the day of fun!
The free event will include a drive-through tour of Kerfeld’s family-owned dairy farm.
Visitors will learn more about how the team at Hillview Farm cares for dairy cattle with the latest technology available.
Breakfast on the Farm is an opportunity to learn more about agricultural businesses throughout Stearns County, and the impact farming has on communities.
It’s a hands-on, agricultural awareness event designed to help people of all ages learn more about the local farms that produce our food.
Breakfast on the Farm also showcases cows, pigs, sheep, goats, poultry, and crops of Stearns County through exhibits and activities at the Farm.
Breakfast on the Farm is held in June because it’s National Dairy Month.
Parking will be at the Melrose Area High School, 546 5th Ave NE, Melrose, MN 56352.
A pilot car will lead attendees to the Farm. There will be no parking or walking at the Farm.
