(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Thursday, May 6th.
Forecasters say temperatures will rise into the low to mid-60s this afternoon, and relative humidity values will be between 15 and 20%. Northwest winds are expected to pick up late Thursday morning and gust to around 30 miles an hour through the early evening.
The red flag warning is in effect from noon until 8:00 p.m.
Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
