Pinecone Road South in Sartell Closed for Two Weeks of Repairs

(KNSI) – A stretch of Pinecone Road South in Sartell will close to through traffic starting Monday, September 28th, for roadwork.

The closure runs from the 2nd Street South roundabout to Heritage Drive. Crews will resurface the road, fix damaged concrete and make some accessibility improvements for pedestrians.

The work is expected to take about two weeks, with the road reopening by October 8th, weather permitting.

The city says drivers, school buses, mail carriers, garbage haulers and emergency vehicles will need to use alternate routes during construction. Detour maps are available from the City of Sartell.

Advance warning signs are going up this week.

Meanwhile, Sartell officials say Leander Avenue is expected to reopen by the end of this week, weather permitting.
