College of St. Benedict, St. John’s University Rank Among Nation’s Top Liberal Arts Schools

(KNSI) — The College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University are named among U.S. News & World Report’s top liberal arts schools in the country.

Schools are ranked on a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. CSB ranks 68th for National Liberal Arts Colleges, 64th for Top Private Schools, and 50th for Best Value Schools.

According to the overview, the College of St. Benedict accepts the Common Application and has a test-optional admissions policy. Its acceptance rate is 92%, with a four-year graduation rate of 80% and undergraduate enrollment of 1,356. It has a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio, and 50% of classes have fewer than 20 students. 61% of first-year students receive need-based financial aid, and the average net price for federal loan recipients is $27,340. Six years after graduation, the median salary for graduates is $54,567.

St. John’s University ranks 74th for National Liberal Arts Colleges, 70th for Top Private Schools, and 63rd for Best Value Schools.

According to the overview, its acceptance rate is 90%, with a four-year graduation rate of 64% and undergraduate enrollment of 1,338. It has an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio, and 50% of classes have fewer than 20 students. 57% of students receive need-based financial aid, and the average net price for federal loan recipients is $25,169.
