(KNSI) — According to the Centers for Disease Control, heart disease remains one of the most common health concerns affecting millions of Americans. Yet, one in four people still have questions about recognizing symptoms, understanding their personal risk, and knowing when to seek care.
To help answer those questions, CentraCare is hosting a free online community education event, “Ask the Expert: What You Need to Know About Your Heart,” on Thursday, October 8th, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Led by a panel of cardiology and electrophysiology specialists, the event will answer common questions about heart conditions. Attendees will learn to recognize warning signs, understand risk factors, explore the latest treatment options, and make heart-healthy lifestyle choices.
The discussion will cover topics including heart disease, irregular heart rhythms, prevention strategies, and when to seek medical care. Participants will leave with practical, easy to understand information to help them take charge of their cardiovascular health.
Registration is free. Click here to register and to submit your questions for the panel.
Those who cannot attend the live presentation are still encouraged to register to receive event-related communications and available resources.
