(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University will cover full tuition and fees for up to four years for 75 Minnesota high school students through a new scholarship program.
The Huskies Scholars Program is open to in-state students who graduate high school in 2027 with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and plan to start at St. Cloud State as first-year students in the fall of 2027.
University leaders say the program is aimed at making college more affordable and helping students finish school without debt. They also hope larger scholarships will keep St. Cloud State a top choice for Minnesota students.
Students selected for the program will be admitted directly to the university’s Honors College and will get priority registration for classes.
To be eligible, students must complete their admission application to St. Cloud State by November 1st. They also need to submit an official high school transcript, an admission essay and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by December 1st.
