(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Area School District’s Early Childhood Family Education program is inviting families with babies and toddlers to a free event this weekend.
The Baby & Toddler Expo runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Quarryview Education Center. Organizers say the goal is to bring families, young children and community partners together to celebrate the bond between parents and kids.
Children can check out big vehicles up close at a touch-a-truck, catch a children’s concert and play in ECFE activity areas. Parents can sit in on two parenting sessions: “Thriving in Your Baby’s First Year” and “Big Feelings & Calm Solutions.”
Community exhibitors will be on hand with information on district programs, education resources, health and wellness services and family support. Light snacks will be provided, and a coffee truck will also be there.
The first 300 families will receive a gift bag. Grand prize drawings include a four-person membership to the Great River Children’s Museum and a car seat and stroller travel system donated by D.J. Bitzen.
