(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Fire Department responded to three separate fires on Sunday.

According to a critical incident report, the first fire was reported at 11:50 a.m. on Interstate 94 at mile marker 171 near the McStop. Firefighters were called for a fully involved car fire. No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not believed to be suspicious. Damage was estimated at $6,100.

About 20 minutes later, firefighters were called to a trash pile on fire on the 1900 block of West St. Germain Street. The fire was knocked down, but an excavator needed to be called in to pull the pile apart and put out hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

About 12:50 p.m., a grass fire was called in at Rolling Ridge Road and County Road 4. The fire burned roughly 5,000 square feet. No buildings were damaged. The cause of that fire was determined to be lawnmowing activity.

No one was hurt in any of the fires.
