(KNSI) — CentraCare’s Coborn Cancer Center, Urology Clinic, and Laboratory Services are partnering to offer free prostate cancer screenings for eligible men on Thursday, September 17th.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men. The American Cancer Society estimates about one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. Early detection can identify the cancer before symptoms develop, when treatment is often most effective.

Men ages 45 to 70 with no history of prostate cancer are eligible for a free prostate-specific antigen, or PSA, blood test and prostate exam. Screenings run from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the CentraCare Coborn Cancer Center, 1900 CentraCare Circle, Suite 1600, in St. Cloud.

Appointments are required and space is limited. To schedule a screening, call 320-229-5100.
