(KNSI) – Families getting ready for the new school year can pick up free supplies and cold weather gear at a St. Cloud giveaway next week.
The Community Outpost is hosting its Back to School Backpack Giveaway on Tuesday, August 25th, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the 10-10 COP House, 1114 9th Avenue Southeast. Organizers say they will be handing out backpacks, winter jackets, haircuts and more at no cost.
The event is first come, first served, and children must be present to receive a backpack. Organizers also note the giveaway is at a new location this year compared to previous years.
