(KNSI) – Communication is indispensable when learning how to navigate the world. Especially as a young child. Help is here for youngsters who may be dealing with speech challenges in the form of a new pediatric therapy clinic.
Sora Pediatric Therapy, part of the Ivy rehab network, is now open in St. Cloud. Lydia Halligan is the clinic director and a speech-language pathologist. She says a lot of her cases deal with articulation and phonology, speech sound disorders, mixed expressive and receptive language disorders, and early language intervention. Halligan adds, ” I see a lot of kids with other comorbidities, such as like Down syndrome and autism.”
The clinic will also offer pediatric occupational therapy and pediatric physical therapy. Sora Therapy Clinic is at 3601 18th Street in St. Cloud. They will be hosting a ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, August 28th, from noon to 2:00 p.m. Families and community members can tour the new clinic, learn more about therapy services, ask questions, and meet the team.
