(KNSI) – Benton County is looking for input to help make county roads safer. The Safe Streets and Roads for All plan is seeking public input. Whether you drive, walk, bike, roll, or take transit, helping with the survey could make future journeys safer.
Feedback is being sought on a variety of areas, including roadway design and signing, sidewalks, bike lanes and trails, pedestrian crossings, street lighting, speeding, impaired, reckless or distracted driving, traffic enforcement and driver education. The plan will identify a prioritized list of safety improvement projects based on data and input. Benton County will then seek to secure funding for implementing the safety projects.
